Calling all Queer+ artists

We would love to showcase your expressions in our MORR Pride Fest Pop-Up gallery!

Here are the guidelines

All applications are due by August 27, 2024

Each piece must adhere to the theme.
The theme of this year’s pop-up gallery is, “who you want the world to see.”

We are accepting physical and digital art.
Digital artists can showcase their work in our online gallery, which will be released close to our festival. Physical art will be displayed in our pop-up gallery.

Each submission must be your original work.
No giclee, AI, or reproductions will be accepted.

Each artist will have the opportunity to showcase two pieces
Within the allotted space detailed below, each artist may present two pieces of work, either digitally, physically, or both. However, photos of both pieces must be submitted with your application to be approved. More photos or a showing may be required.

Each piece should fall within these specifications:
(Slight deviancy from these measurements will be approved based on the space available.)
(3D) Standing piece: 4 feet Length by 4 feet Width by 6 feet Height and no heavier than what you are capable of transporting on your own
(2D) Hanging Piece: 2 feet Length by 2 inches Width by 4 feet Height and no heavier than 10 pounds

Each piece must be prepared and ready before the event by the artist.
All 2D work must be show-ready, properly wired with suitable hanging mechanisms to support its weight, framed, or created on a properly wrapped canvas. All 3D work must be assembled by the artist before the event begins. All digital pieces must be high-res and submitted as a JPG, PNG, or PDF.

Each artist can choose to list their physical pieces for sale.
All purchased art will immediately be given to the purchaser for the marked price, or marked as sold and picked up before the event, and all funds will be given to the artist.

There is a small fee for artists to enter their pieces.
A $5 fee per piece will be required upon acceptance. This is to help make sure we have what we need to showcase each artist to the best of our ability. This is only a submission feeAll proceeds from the sale of each piece will go to the artist.

Each piece must be appropriate for all ages
However, each artist will have a profile showcasing them on the website, where you can link to any of your original works and let the community see your full array of talent.

You are responsible for your work
You are liable for the artwork you display and all transactions regarding them.
